- Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates ambitious entrepreneurs who are shaping the future
ROCKVILLE, Md. — Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) has named Chaberton Energy CEO Stefano Ratti as a finalist for the 2025 Entrepreneur Of The Year Mid-Atlantic Award.
Stefano was recognized after shepherding an exponential 73x revenue growth of Chaberton Energy, a national renewable energy developer, over its five years as a company. He has overcome numerous obstacles by relying on calculated risk taking, a strong mission and three core values that continue to drive the company forward. Those values—creativity, excellence and humanity—are infused in everything Chaberton does, from hiring, to siting and developing projects, to community engagement and more.
The Entrepreneur Of The Year program, now in its 40th year, celebrates the bold leaders who disrupt markets through the world’s most groundbreaking companies, revolutionizing industries and making a profound impact on communities. The program honors entrepreneurs whose innovations shape the future and pave the way for a thriving economy and a hopeful tomorrow. An independent panel of judges selected Stefano among just 36 finalists for their entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and lasting impact in building long-term value.
