Chaberton Energy Projects
At Chaberton Energy, we have 140 projects under site control, representing 790+ MWdc (megawatts direct current) of clean energy that we’re working hard to get on the grid.
Our work started in Maryland, and so our first completed projects have launched here in our home state. Next to light up will be projects currently under construction in Delaware. And we can’t wait for projects in more states to break ground.
What’s in a (Project) Name?
Our founder, Stefano Ratti, grew up in Italy, and he used to take in the beauty of Mont Chaberton in the Alps from his home region of Piedmont. In fact, Stefano is an avid mountain climber, and he has summitted Mont Chaberton’s 10,242-foot peak more times than he can remember. This was the inspiration for our company name, and mountains are the inspiration for our project names, each one named after a different peak. The names remind us:
- That just like mountain climbers, Chabertonians can do hard things
- To recall the beauty of nature and pristine environments we are working to preserve
- To aim high!
